What a nice lake Sowards Reservoir Number 4 is. Meadow Lake Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Wolf Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Middle Creek Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a lake nearby is Meadow Lake Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. It is very arid here at Sowards

Hogback Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Sowards Reservoir Number 4, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Grande.
