South Lake is a location that is relatively dry ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is January. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Sangre De Cristo Mountains is peerless! Nearby Deadman Canyon is a splendid place to go if you're at South Lake, and you'll find a charming lake called Rainbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Eldora since you're here; you can stay the night at Potato Patch Campground. South Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
