The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Sourdough Lakes. So much enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Sourdough Lakes, just tremendous. Erickson Creek is a splendid local stream; if you came for an overnight stay Rocky Fork Campground is a fine spot to camp. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact       abundant here at Sourdough Lakes. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Antone Trail. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Salt Creek Trail, and you can run the rapids of Roaring Fork. Since you're here at Sourdough Lakes why not stop at Gerard Gulch, and camping is available at Gypsum Creek Campground. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. If you need a spot to stay The Green Drake is a great choice,                  unsurprisingly you could also go to Sundell Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Sawatch Range. Bull Park is a wonderful place to stretch your legs a bit; get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of -blank-. Sourdough Lakes gets very little rain; during the month of April you get the most rain around here while June is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A short visit to Sourdough Spring is always worthwhile, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Shingle Lake is just a very short distance away. Take a hike on the Blue Creek Trail, and the summit of Sugarloaf can be made out from Sourdough Lakes. This lake is so wonderful.
