Take a hike on the Cottonwood Trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from       Montrose here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sorenson Reservoir it's a great idea to check out Sanborn Park; a splendid location to camp here at Sorenson Reservoir is Antone Spring Campground. So much cool stuff to do at Sorenson Reservoir, so little time. Hiking along the Pool Creek Trail is wonderful fun; there are other locations here than Sorenson Reservoir, for example Horsefly Trail Reservoir Number 2. Camping is available at Iron                  Spring Campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Hole-in-Ground Spring since you're here at Sorenson Reservoir. Summer at Sorenson Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sorenson Reservoir are in the 0's. Around Sorenson Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
