Andrews Creek is in the vicinity of Solitude Lake and is always a pleasure to go to, and the Glacier Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is a lot of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Man, is there lots of entertaining stuff to do next to Solitude Lake. Interesting geology is available here; Keyboard of the Winds is near Solitude       Lake, and the snow is tremendous at Berthoud Pass. After a long day outdoors Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a great place to spend a night or two, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Boulder Creek. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Solitude Lake reach the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Solitude Lake.                  Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Arrowhead is a peak you can catch a sight of from Solitude Lake, and there are other places here than Solitude Lake, for example Shelf Lake. Rocky Mountain National Park is a good site close to Solitude Lake, and why not camp at Moraine Park Campground if you're here at Solitude Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a splendid time. Black Lake is a good lake next to Solitude Lake; a good nearby hotel is Aspen Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Saint Vrain Creek - North right next door to Solitude Lake, and Andrews Pass is a brilliant place to spend some time. Solitude Lake is pretty dried up typically; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is November. Put some time aside to spend at Alberta Falls while you're here at Solitude Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Solitude Lake; Long Peak Trail is a delightful local trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant location to camp here at Solitude Lake is Glacier Basin Campground, and perfect hiking is available along the Loch Vale Trail.
