This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit Bergen West Dam if you're here; you can observe Mount Glennon from Soda Lakes. Soda Lakes is a place with many visitors from Boulder, and obviously Mount Vernon Creek flows through this area. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Soda Lakes. Camping is available at Dakota Ridge RV Park; close by you find the Bear Peak Trail which       is a great hiking trail. At Soda Lakes during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Soda Lakes temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Oakwood at Retreat at Fox Hollow is a perfect choice, and the Beaver Brook Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. If you come at                  the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some brilliant whitewater; while you're here why not pop by Bear Creek Canyon. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Red Rocks Country Club, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Littleton, Co is a delightful site to get some rest. Camping at South Park Lodge and RV Park is always a magnificent experience, and naturally, all our national parks are glorious places to visit and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception. There are some great whitewater spots on Clear Creek; if you get bored of Soda Lakes you could also visit nearby Soda East Reservoir Number 2. Soda Lakes is mostly a pretty dried up location; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Soda Lakes.
