Around Soda       East Reservoir Number 2 you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Soda West Reservoir Number 1 is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you came to camp Dakota Ridge RV Park is a magnificent site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A quick trip to Mount Vernon Creek right next door to Soda East Reservoir Number 2 is a tremendous idea, and Clear Creek is                  a great whitewater spot nearby. A round of golf at nearby Red Rocks Country Club is a great way to kill some time, and don't leave Soda East Reservoir Number 2 without first going for a hike along the Bear Peak Trail.
