The beauty of Snowstorm Lake attracts many people from all around. Camping at Snowstorm Lake is great fun, Dry Lake Campground is a great local campground; going for a hike on the Luna Lake Trail is always a wonderful adventure. All year is a splendid time in the Park Range if you love the outdoors. This is a brilliant vicinity for people who like lakes. | | here at Snowstorm Lake. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Park Range, too wonderful to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Elk River; skiing at Howelsen Hill is one of those things you just should do.
A magnificent nearby hotel is Western Lodge; there are delightful spots to explore along the Big Creek Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Elk River; Summit Lake Campground is a great campground here. | |

Snowstorm Lake is mostly a rather dry site; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest of the months is August.
For the duration of the summertime at Snowstorm Lake highs are usually in the 80's. During the dark
hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Snowstorm Lake tend to be in the-10's. Near Snowstorm Lake you hit upon
a golf course called Haymaker Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Very picturesque scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Steamboat, and don't leave Snowstorm Lake without first going for a hike along the Swamp Park Trail.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff near Snowstorm Lake. Visit East Branch South Fork Mad Creek since you're here at Snowstorm Lake, and Village at Steamboat is a splendid location to get some rest. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.
