Snowstorm Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. You're probably into lakes, Lake Margaret is one of those nearby. There's so much to do here at Snowstorm Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Lake Campground is a good place for that. Take a hike on the Swamp Park Trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Steamboat. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the neighborhood

Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range. Western Lodge is a good site to get some rest; soar down the rapids of Elk River in a kayak. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Creek Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Village at Steamboat is a splendid location to spend a night or two. Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Snowstorm Lake has to offer, you can camp at Dry Lake Campground.
This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. Near Snowstorm Lake you discover
a golf course called Haymaker Golf Course, and you can hit the slopes at Howelsen Hill in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try East Branch South Fork Mad Creek, and since you're here at
Snowstorm Lake it's a great idea to have a look at Horse Thief Park.
All through the long summer days highs here at Snowstorm Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the
20's, and night lows in the-10's for Snowstorm Lake. Snowstorm Lake gets very little rain; December is the wettest month with most snow, and August is when it's the driest. If you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some brilliant whitewater, and the Luna Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.
