Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Snowline Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Mount Thorodin Trail; the sight of pretty Fairburn Mountain is good. This lake is so wonderful. Gamble Gulch is near Snowline Lake and is absolutely a tremendous place to check       out, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a great place to spend a night or two. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Berthoud Pass since you're here, and camping is available at Dory Hill KOA Campground. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Front Range. Visit Colorado Creek if you're here at Snowline Lake, and paddling on Boulder Creek - South is so much fun.                  Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bolling Gulch Trail, obviously you could also take a look at Camp Shoshoni Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Snowline Lake gets very little rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Snowline Lake has it all. A pleasant place to camp here at Snowline Lake is Central City Blackhawk Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk. A lake close by is Manchester Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Winter Park. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more fun stuff to do in the Front Range. Hiking along the Switzerland Trail is splendid fun, and drift down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak.
