Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Fan Falls. Head up to Berthoud Pass and strap some skis to your feet. Lakes? Sure, Lion Lake Number 1 is in the neighborhood. Through the summertime highs here at Snowbank Lake get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in       the 30's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Snowbank Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Front Range. What would a spot like Snowbank Lake be without exciting nearby features like Keyboard of the Winds. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a place to stay Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a fine choice; the top of Mount Alice is easily made out                  from Snowbank Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Shelf Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Lion Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Snowbank Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Longs Peak Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby; the Loch Vale Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Aspen Lodge, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Bluebird Lake Trail. A spree to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile, and there are some great whitewater spots on Saint Vrain Creek - North. Snowbank Lake is located in the Front Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in close proximity to Snowbank Lake. The snow is magnificent at SolVista, and not far from Snowbank Lake you'll find Lion Lake Number 2 which is a pretty lake. All year is a great time in the Front Range if you love the outdoors. A great site in close proximity to Snowbank Lake is Boulder-Grand Pass, and Glacier Basin Campground is a good local campground.
