The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. If the weather is good here at Snow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Deluge Lake Trail, and get wet paddling on Blue River. There's so much to do here at Snow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Lakes Campground is a glorious location       for that; the snow is brilliant at Vail. After a long day outdoors Silverthorne Days Inn is a good site to spend a night or two, and this is a popular site for people from Silverthorne. Summertime highs at Snow Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while Snow Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.                  You're probably interested in lakes, Deluge Lake is one of those close by, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Copper Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Snow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gore Creek Campground, and if you've had enough of Snow Lake, Gore Lake is close by. Snow Lake gets very little precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is a lot of exciting things already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Arkansas River, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Slate Creek Trail. What a site this is for outdoors people.
