You'll need more than a day to discover everything Smith Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Ute Creek RV Park, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Tobin Creek Dam is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful.                  Days Inn Alamosa is a nice site to get some rest, and hiking along the Strawberry Trail is nice fun. Through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Smith Reservoir. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's.
