Summertime highs at Sloans Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Sloans Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sloans Lake,       you'll discover Ashland Reservoir which is a lovely lake, and there are plenty of people from Denver-Aurora here at Sloans Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sloans Lake has to offer, you can camp at The Prospect RV Park, and dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Denver - Gateway to Downtown. Why not stop by Barnum Park Lake Dam if you're here, and going for a hike on the Beaver Brook Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so                  wonderful. There are other spots here than Sloans Lake, for example Berkeley Lake, and if you need a place to stay Denver-Days Inn Central is a great choice. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. A round of golf at nearby Lakewood Country Club is a nice way to kill some time, and get yourself into a kayak and hit South Platte River. Go for a hike on the Mesa Trail; you might also want to pay a visit to Dry Gulch while you're here at Sloans Lake.
