That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Sloan Lake has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Silverton Lakes Campground is a wonderful location to camp; American Basin is a nice site. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Mill Creek Campground if you're here at Sloan Lake, and paddling on Henson Creek is so much fun. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. The Bear Creek

Handies Peak. Sloan Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Mineral Creek - South in a kayak. During the long summer days at Sloan Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and through summer nights
temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sloan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Sloan Lake you can take a hike along the Ridge Stock Driveway; Comfort Inn Ouray is a glorious spot to get some rest.
