Beautiful Sloan Lake has much to offer visitors. Man, is there heaps of entertaining things to do in the San Juan Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sloan Lake; Bear Creek Trail is a magnificent local trail, and you can hit the slopes at Kendall Mountain around here. This lake is so wonderful. Silverton has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and Sloan Lake is a good spot to camp, Mill Creek Campground is a good spot. Around Sloan Lake you

Why not take a refreshing hike along the West Fork Trail, and Mineral Creek - South is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. For the period of the days of summer at Sloan Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. lows in the 10's to Sloan Lake. American Basin is a nice location; a perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Ouray.
This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Ridge Stock Driveway. You completely must love the
San Juan Mountains. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sloan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Silverton Lakes Campground; after a long day outdoors Ouray Chalet Inn is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
So much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Sloan Lake, completely mind-blowing. A magnificent view of beautiful Handies Peak is available from Sloan Lake; you can run the rapids of Henson Creek.
This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains.
