Do stop by Slide Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Lakes is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and pleasant hiking is available along the Half Moon Trail. If you're visiting Slide Lake from Edwards, you won't be the only one. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Eagle River, and a splendid close by hotel is Silver King Inn.
Be careful coming to Slide Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. If

| | you get bored of Slide Lake, you could also take a look at nearby West Tennessee Lakes, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Cooper is quite near. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawatch Range. If you need a site to stay The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a wonderful choice, and the vista of gorgeous Homestake Peak is brilliant. down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Slide Lake.
These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Why not camp at
Mary Queen Campground while you're here at Slide Lake, and there are delightful locations to look at along the Main Range Trail. Around Slide Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; all through the month of August you get the most rain
around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Gold Park Campground, and get soaked paddling on Homestake Creek.
Don't leave Slide Lake without first going for a hike along
the Fall Creek Trail, and the skiing at Vail is tremendous. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range.
