The beauty of Slide Lake is reason enough to stop by. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Steamboat; if you came to camp Summit Lake Campground is a splendid place to do that. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Park Range. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Slide Lake called the Wyoming Trail, and since you're here, you could also explore lovely Rainbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful view of charming

There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Slide Lake. Going for a hike on the Crags Trail is always a perfect adventure; after a long day outdoors Winterwood Townhomes is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Not much precipitation falls here at Slide Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; August is when it's the driest. the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Slide Lake are in the-10's.

Do go to Spike Lake in the neighborhood of Slide Lake, it's a stunning lake, and dry warm beds await you at Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums. This lake is so wonderful. On a nice day at Slide Lake you can take a hike along the
Rainbow Lake Trail, and camping at Grizzly Creek Campground is always a great experience. The snow is great at Howelsen Hill; whitewater paddling is fine on Elk River.
