The beauty of Slide Lake attracts many people from all around. Comfort Inn Ouray is a perfect site to get some rest, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ridge Stock Driveway. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Lake Fork Gunnison River, and Slide Lake is right by the Fall Creek Trail. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Stay the night

year are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Slide Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy
all the enjoyable things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Crystal Lake, and hiking along the Big Blue Trail is good fun.
