If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Slide Lake. This site, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Arrowhead Village, and you can run the rapids of Fryingpan River. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Gold Dust Basin, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Beaver Creek. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Slide Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Slide Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Fulford Cave Campground is a great local campground, and you obtain a glorious sight of Gold Dust Peak from here. the slopes at Vail around here. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Slide Lake, so little time. Slide Lake is right by the Lake Charles Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Edwards here at Slide Lake.
