If you are traveling by, why not stop by Slesinger Reservoir. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something close to Slesinger Reservoir? Crescent Lake is in the vicinity, and going for a hike on the Leche Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Be careful coming to the San Juan Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Camping is available at The Last Resort RV Park and Campground,

It is very dry here at Slesinger Reservoir mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan Mountains for a fine time. Castle Creek is a wonderful place to have a look at, and camping at Blanco River Campground is always a wonderful experience.

San Juan River - East Fork has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are great spots to look at along the Fish Lake Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Slesinger Reservoir.
Slesinger Reservoir is in close proximity to Slesinger Dam which is a pretty location absolutely worth visiting, and after a long day outdoors Best Value High Country Lodge is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Whitewater
paddling is great on Navajo River, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the V Rock Trail.
Summer at Slesinger Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. For the
period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Slesinger Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 0's.
