It is very dried out here at Slesinger Reservoir mostly; the month with most of the rain is August; June on the other hand is the driest. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a great time. Take a little visit to Castle Creek while you're here at Slesinger Reservoir, and a glorious close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co. If you came for an overnight stay Acres Green RV Park       is a good location to camp, and a lake nearby is Crescent Lake. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Whitewater paddling is great on San Juan River - East Fork, and you can go for a hike on the Leche Creek Trail. Why not camp at Blanco River Campground while you're here at Slesinger Reservoir, and there are great places to discover along the V Rock Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This                  lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Opal Lake while you're here at Slesinger Reservoir; it's close by, and Slesinger Dam is not far at all from Slesinger Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Oak Ridge Lodge is a nice place to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Slesinger Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Slesinger Reservoir tend to be in the 0's. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back time and again.
