Beautiful Slate Lake has much to offer visitors. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Very gorgeous scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Copper Mountain, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Lake Trail.
All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Park Range will keep you coming back again and again. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue River, and Slate Lake is right by the Gore Range

| | Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Davis Springs Campground while you're here at Slate Lake, and people from Silverthorne love to come here. Around Slate Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.

ski right? Vail is a fine spot to do that. So many enjoyable things to do here at Slate Lake, too tremendous to be true. Slate Lake is not the only spot nearby, Lost Lake is a nearby lake; if you need a site to stay Silverthorne
Days Inn is a pleasant choice. Looking for something close to Slate Lake? Lost Lake Reservoir is close at hand; Blue River is a tremendous whitewater spot close by.
This lake is so wonderful. Vail Racquet Club Condominiums is
a tremendous place to get some rest; Prairie Point Campground is a magnificent local campground. For the period of the summer months highs here at Slate Lake reach the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly colder of course, typically in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Slate Lake are in the 0's.
