At Slate Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Slate Lake. Camping is available at Prairie Point Campground, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Upper Slate Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful.       This is a nice area for folks who like lakes. Lost Lake is a lake around here, and hey, Gotta ski right? Vail is a splendid location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Slate Lake; Slate Creek Trail is a magnificent local trail, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Blue River. Slate Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. Having a great time at Slate Lake is trouble-free. Here at Slate Lake there                  are plenty of folks from Silverthorne; Vail Racquet Club Condominiums is a good location to get some rest. A tremendous location to camp here at Slate Lake is Davis Springs Campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Copper Mountain. Having a great time in the Park Range is uncomplicated. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Lake Trail, and you can run the rapids of Blue River. Slate Lake is a location that is reasonably dry ordinarily; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Park Range.
