Berthoud Pass is a nice local ski area; Betty Lake is a splendid lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Buckingham Campground, and a wonderful site close by is Devils Thumb Pass. Reservoir. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Front Range rocks! Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Diamond Lake
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Devils Thumb Lake next to Skyscraper Reservoir is a fine spot to check out, and the King Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even
more cool stuff to do here in the Front Range. There's whitewater on Clear Creek - West Fork for all you thrill seekers, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Winter Park is rather near. Skyscraper Dam is worth going to since you're
here, and if you need a location to stay Iron Horse Resort is a great choice. Summer at Skyscraper Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. High temperatures
during the winter are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Skyscraper Reservoir.
