Alexander Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and fine skiing awaits you at Powderhorn. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Skinned Horse Reservoir, too fine to be true. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Alexander Lake Dam. There's so much to do here       at Skinned Horse Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Ward Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that. If you get bored of Skinned Horse Reservoir, you could also visit close by Safety Reservoirs, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Crag Crest Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
