The beauty of Skaguay Reservoir attracts many people from all around. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Gold Mountain is a fine campground nearby; going for a hike on the Barr Trail is always a nice adventure. Skaguay Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. All through the months of summer at Skaguay Reservoir highs are usually in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the

| | wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Skaguay Reservoir.
Man, is there a lot of cool things to do in the Front Range. Eagle Motel is a tremendous location to get some rest; a journey to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Middle Beaver Creek from Skaguay Reservoir is trouble-free. You clearly have to go for the Front Range. If you came for an | |

overnight stay Clyde Campground is a nice place to camp, and there are perfect locations to look at along the Indian Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Skagway Reservoir is a tremendous lake close to Skaguay Reservoir, and you're
sure to encounter some friendly people from Canon City here. Not much rain falls here at Skaguay Reservoir; most of the rain falls during July while January is generally the driest month. If you need a place to stay The Cliff House
Hotel at Pikes Peak is a fine choice, and Douglas Gulch is another great place to explore close by.
Not far from Skaguay Reservoir you obtain some splendid water scenery at Skaguay Dam, and you can go for a hike on the Palmer Trail.
