Sixmile Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. If the weather is lovely, you get a tremendous sight of Valmont Butte from Sixmile Reservoir, and why not a little side visit to Fourmile Canyon Creek. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Sixmile Reservoir has it all. Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek, and close by you find the Mesa Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Do explore Boulder Reservoir near Sixmile Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake, and if you need a spot to stay Boulder Twin Lakes Inn is a brilliant choice. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Front Range, not enough time. Get covered with water paddling on Boulder Creek, and a golf course close by is Flatirons Golf | |

Course. Summertime highs at Sixmile Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's; during the dark hours in the winter at Sixmile Reservoir
temperatures sink to the 10's. While you're here at Sixmile Reservoir you will meet lots of people from close by Boulder, and the Saddle Rock Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. And that's not all you can do here at Sixmile
Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Sixmile Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, B and B Mobile and RV Park is a glorious location for that, and going for a hike on the Green Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure.
Sixmile Reservoir is pretty dry frequently; May is when you get the most rain here; January is the month with the least moisture. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Front Range. A nice nearby hotel is Lookout Inn - Guest
House And Suites, and since you're here, you could also stop at wonderful Davis Reservoir Number 1. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Sixmile Reservoir you acquire some great water scenery at Six Mile Dam, and you can stay the night at Longmont Koa Kampground.
