It's always fun to stop by Sixmile Reservoir. Sixmile Reservoir is located in the Front Range. From Sixmile Reservoir you obtain a great view of Valmont Butte; not far from Sixmile Reservoir you'll discover Boulder Reservoir which is a delightful lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Front Range. Golf can be played at Flatirons Golf Course, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Mesa Trail. Very glorious water scenery is available at Six Mile Dam in close proximity to Sixmile Reservoir, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Saddle Rock Trail. here at Sixmile Reservoir. Float down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. Boulder Twin Lakes Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest, and a great
site to camp here at Sixmile Reservoir is Longmont Koa Kampground. Sixmile Reservoir is pretty waterless ordinarily; May is the wettest month with most rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
