     That right there is a lot of amusing things already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. Do pop by Silver Lake Dam if you're here at Silver Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Brooklyn Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Playing golf is lots of fun at Telluride Ski & Golf Club; Bridal Veil Falls is a glorious local attraction. I  
   can't stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Silver Lake. Bear Creek is a stream that you may bump into during your stay; there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Greyhound Pack Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Blue Lake Number 1 while you're here at Silver Lake; it's close by, and if you need a place to stay Camel's Garden is a tremendous choice. Get wet paddling on Mineral Creek - South, and a pleasant panorama of
 
               lovely Ajax Peak is available. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Silver Lake; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Trail.
Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Silver Lake. Camping is available at Sunshine Campground; Owl Gulch is another good place to visit nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. The snow is good at Silverton; since you're here at Silver Lake it's a delightful idea to pop by Bridal Veil Basin. It is very dehydrated here at Silver Lake mostly; all through July this area sees the most rain; June is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Silver Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Silver Lake.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Telluride, and camping at South Mineral Campground is always a splendid experience. Drift down the rapids of Lime Creek in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at The Ice House Lodge.
