    Do stop by Silver Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Telluride Ski & Golf Club, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Telluride. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Whitewater paddling is good on Lime Creek, and not far from Silver  
   Lake you'll locate Silver Lake which is a stunning lake.
Silver Lake is ordinarily a rather dried out site; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is June. There's some flowing water close by, Bear Creek is a stream you can visit while here, and Bridal Veil Basin is a glorious place to stretch your legs a bit.                more than a day at, South Mineral Campground is a pleasant local campground, and going for a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Camels Garden is a magnificent choice, and hiking along the Deep Creek Trail is glorious fun. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is peerless! You get a delightful vista of Ajax Peak from Silver Lake, and do take a hike on the Brooklyn Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Silver Lake is unbeatable! Lakes? Sure, Blue Lake Number 1 is nearby; in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mineral Creek - South. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. A short journey to Bridal Veil Falls is always worthwhile, and you might also want to pay a visit to Owl Gulch if you're here at Silver Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Ice House Lodge; a tremendous spot to camp here at Silver Lake is Sunshine Campground.
Through the summer months at Silver Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Silver Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. The snow is splendid at Silverton; Silver Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.
