Beautiful Silver Lake has much to offer visitors. Not much rainfall falls here at Silver Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Silver Lake is located in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Midland Campground is always a splendid experience, and do take a hike on the James Peak Lake Trail.

| | a wonderful choice. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. A lake nearby is Lake Quivira, and an interesting thing to stop by near Silver Lake is Saint Marys Lake Dam. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Silver Lake. Going for a hike along the Guinn Mountain Ski Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if the weather is pretty, you acquire a magnificent vista of Fox Mountain from Silver Lake.

is so much fun, and Silver Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain Meadow Camp Grounds is a glorious local campground. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more cool things to do in the Front Range. Saint
Marys Glacier is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Silver Lake, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the South Boulder Creek Trail. Head up to Berthoud Pass and strap some skis to your feet, and float
down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Anchor Gulch is always fun, and Silver Creek is close to Silver Lake and is always a pleasure to stop at. Winter Park is a very popular ski area
in the vicinity; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Georgetown. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Silver Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Silver Lake.
