The Front Range rocks! One of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Silver Lake is Fox Mountain, and skiing at Berthoud Pass       is one of those things you just must do. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Silver Lake, you'll discover Saint Marys Lake which is a beautiful lake, and why not go to Saint Marys Lake Dam while you're here. This spot is great, just look at all the exciting stuff to do close to Silver Lake. On a great day at Silver Lake you can take a hike along the South Boulder Creek Trail; a pleasant site                  to camp here at Silver Lake is Mountain Meadow Camp Grounds. For the period of the summertime months at Silver Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Silver Lake are in the 0's. Having a good time in the Front Range is uncomplicated. Why not camp at Shwayder Camp-Temple Emanuel while you're here at Silver Lake, and you can run the rapids of Clear Creek. Any time is a perfect time at Silver Lake if you like the outdoors. Don't leave Silver Lake without first checking out Saint Marys Glacier, and Boulder Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Front Range has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Lake Quivira; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the James Peak Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Silver Lake you come across Anchor Gulch which is a brilliant spot to have a look at; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Winter Park if you're here.
