Many people like to go to Silver Jack Reservoir. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Silver Jack Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Ouray, and while you're here, you could also pop by picturesque Beaver Lake. Camping at Silver Jack Reservoir is great fun, Big Cimarron Campground is a great local campground; Silver Jack Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do in the San Juan Mountains.

| | Why not camp at Beaver Lake Campground since you're here at Silver Jack Reservoir, and there's some flowing water close by, Fish Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay.
So much fun stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains, too great to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cimarron River; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Deer Creek Trail. Cabbage Patch is right here at Silver | |

Jack Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Lou Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure. Silver Jack Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Ouray Chalet
Inn is a good choice; there are good spots to explore along the Little Cimarron Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Cimarron River, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t
go skiing at Silverton since you're here.
Silver Jack Reservoir gets very little rain; during September this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. The warmest time of the year at Silver Jack Reservoir
arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Silver Jack Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
