Float down the rapids of East River in a kayak; if you need a spot to stay The St. Regis Aspen Resort is a magnificent choice. Cataract Creek flows through this vicinity, and a great site to camp here at Silver Dollar Pond is Maroon Creek Campground 4. On a nice day at Silver Dollar Pond you can take a hike along the Star Trail.

This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here at Silver Dollar Pond, you can go for a hike along the Granite Basin Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing
at Aspen Mountain. Boomerang Lodge is a great spot to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Trail Riders Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. All through the long summer days here at Silver Dollar
Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Silver Dollar Pond.
A short journey to Connundrum Hot Springs is always worthwhile, and the vista of lovely Cathedral Peak is great.
