All year is a splendid time in the Sawatch Range if you like the outdoors. Holiday Inn Express SALIDA is a wonderful site to get some rest, and do go to Beaver Creek while you're here at Silver Creek Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Murphys Hole is a great place, and do take a       hike on the Round Hill Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Arkansas River close to Silver Creek Lakes; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Monarch. Silver Creek Lakes is located in the Sawatch Range. Do visit Lake O'Haver in the vicinity of Silver Creek Lakes, it's a pretty lake, and dry warm beds await you at Aspen Leaf Lodge. Silver Creek Lakes gets very little rain; all through the month of August you get                  the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Silver Creek Lakes get into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's.
