Lake Silex is always a pleasure to visit. What a site this is for outdoors folks. There are good sites to discover along the Deer Park Trail; why not head up to Kendall Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Lake Silex truly is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Lake Silex is located in the San Juan Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Lake Silex lays in the shadow of the Grenadier Range, and Leviathan Lake is a magnificent lake nearby.

| | Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is bountiful here in the San Juan Mountains. It's a glorious idea to pop by Nebo Creek, it's close to Lake Silex; the view of Grenadier Range is gorgeous. Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals is a great campground here; Lake Silex is in close proximity to Stormy Gulch which is positively worth going to.

Hotel is a great place to get some rest; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Silverton. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Vallecito Campground is a delightful location to camp,
and Vallecito Creek is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. Around Lake Silex you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls through August, and June on the other hand is the driest.
Don't leave Lake Silex without
first going for a hike along the Brooklyn Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Animas River. If you need a place to stay Cascade Village is a great choice; going for
a hike on the Whitehead Trail is always a pleasant adventure. High temperatures at Lake Silex all through the long summer days are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lake Silex during the wintertime frequently dip into the 0's.
