In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Silesca Pond is one of them. Silesca Pond is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Uncompahgre River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a nice site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Dry Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you need a site to stay

to do here at Silesca Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Antone Spring Campground is a wonderful site for that, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River.
So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, not enough time. The Coal Bank Trail is a splendid hiking trail next to Silesca Pond, and getting to Bear Creek from Silesca Pond is trouble-free. Stay the night
at Iron Spring Campground, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Montrose. Summertime highs at Silesca Pond usually tend to be in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are
commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Silesca Pond are in the 10's.
Silesca Pond is pretty waterless regularly; October is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
