Sidehill Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so       wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Inn at Lost Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit San Miguel River. At Sidehill Reservoir through the summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Sidehill Reservoir night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Having a glorious time at Sidehill Reservoir is easy. There's pleasant hiking along the Dry Creek Trail, and                  camping is available at Antone Spring Campground. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, North Creek Reservoir is one of those close by, and if you're visiting from Montrose, you won't be the only one. At Sidehill Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
