It's always fun to stop by Shoestring Lake. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Elk River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Jonah Lake. Shoestring Lake gets very little rainfall; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while August is frequently the driest month. Any time is a magnificent time at Shoestring Lake if you like the outdoors.

| | Park Range for a good time. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Howelsen Hill is in the neighborhood of Shoestring Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums. The snow is great at Steamboat, and if you desire a little side journey, try Buffalo Pass. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range.

Lake Campground is a perfect place to camp. near Shoestring Lake you'll stumble on a wooded area called Routt National Forest, and a pleasant panorama of striking Round Mountain is available. This site is excellent, just check out
all the fun stuff to do close to Shoestring Lake. There's fine hiking along the Percy Lake Trail; as expected, this is a delightful neighborhood for people who like lakes, Whale Lake is a lake in the neighborhood.
Be careful coming
to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. While you're here at Shoestring Lake you can play some golf at Haymaker Golf Course, and Granite Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
The Rainbow Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Winterwood Townhomes is a great place to get some rest. During the warm months at Shoestring Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Shoestring Lake.
