At Sherwood Dam in the vicinity of Sherwood Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and if you came for an overnight stay Arapaho Bay - Arapaho National Forest is a pleasant place to camp. Not much rain falls here at Sherwood Reservoir; May is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Have a delightful hiking adventure along       the Wintersteen Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Thompson River, and Hampton Inn Ft.Collins is a perfect site to get some rest. Cache La Poudre River is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Sherwood Reservoir, and Fort Collins Country Club Golf is a pleasant golf course close by. Summer at Sherwood Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's while                  overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows all through the winter for Sherwood Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Round Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; dry warm beds await you at Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Collins. Camping is available at Pawnee - Arapaho National Forest; do have a look at Williams Lake, it's a charming lake. You'll stumble on a charming lake called Nelson Reservoir near Sherwood Reservoir, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dry Creek.
