This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Pawnee - Arapaho National Forest is a delightful location to do that; you can go for a hike on the Wintersteen Trail. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Lindenmeier Lake near Sheldon Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Armstrong Hotel. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Sheldon Lake. There are other places here than Sheldon Lake, for example       Williams Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sheldon Lake; Jug Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Lindenmeirs Dam, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River. Sheldon Lake is not far at all from Fort Collins-Loveland, and there's some flowing water close by, Dry Creek is a stream you can                  check out during your stay. If you're here at Sheldon Lake and you like golf, you can go to Fort Collins Country Club Golf; nice hiking is available along the Greyrock Trail. For the duration of the summer at Sheldon Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Sheldon Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Sheldon Lake is pretty arid ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February.
