Any time is a glorious time at Sheep Lakes if you go for the outdoors. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Cache La Poudre River - South Fork. Hondius Park is a great location to check out. Lakes are splendid; Cascade Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Sheep Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Valley Creek flows through this neighborhood; nearby you find the Lawn Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking       trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Little Horseshoe Park Trail. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Sheep Lakes, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while Sheep Lakes night low temperatures                  throughout the winter are in the 0's. At Sheep Lakes you can see Bighorn Mountain; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Potts Puddle. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Front Range. Hidden Valley is a splendid spot to spend some time at; a splendid close by hotel is Estes Park Condos. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. So much cool stuff in the Front Range, just amazing. Looking for a good journey? Rocky Mountain National Park is relatively near Sheep Lakes, and going for a hike on the Deer Mountain Trail is always a glorious adventure. Sheep Lakes gets very little rain; all through August this area sees the most rain; November is when it's the driest. This location is peerless, just look at all the exciting stuff to do next to Sheep Lakes.
