A visit to Sheep Lakes is always a good idea. All through the summertime highs here at Sheep Lakes reach the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 30's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sheep Lakes. At Sheep Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year

| | is November. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Front Range. Sheep Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Aspenglen Campground is a great local campground, and going for a hike on the Little Horseshoe Park Trail is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Cascade Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and don't leave Sheep Lakes without first paying a visit to Horseshoe Falls. | |

Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Front Range is excellent! There are great places to explore along the Lawn Lake Trail, and Rocky Mountain National Park is a very fine site to stop by. Sheep Lakes is one of the lakes
here in the Front Range. At Sheep Lakes you can distinguish Bighorn Mountain; Cache La Poudre River - South Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Go for a hike on the Deer Mountain
Trail, and Hondius Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the vicinity of Sheep Lakes. Hidden Valley Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting. This lake is
so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Peak To Peak Lodge Inc., and a lake close by is Ypsilon Lake. A glorious location for whitewater paddling next to Sheep Lakes is Cache La Poudre River, and if you need a location to stay Estes
Park Condos is a magnificent choice. Camping at Endovalley Campground is always a perfect experience, and a pleasant spot to take a look at is Hidden Valley.
