Summertime highs at Sheep Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sheep Lake. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Sheep Lake. Lakes are such serene       places, why not have a look at Costo Lake near Sheep Lake, and Sheep Lake lays in the shadow of the West Elk Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a stunning lake called Dollar Lake near Sheep Lake; if you need a spot to stay Elevation Hotel & Spa is a wonderful choice. The skiing at Irwin Lodge is magnificent, and the Mill-Castle Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby. Sheep Lake is pretty waterless commonly; during the month of October                  you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture. While you're here at Sheep Lake it's a perfect idea to go to Soap Basin, and paddling on Crystal River - South Fork is so much fun. Going for a hike on the Hammond Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and the peak of West Elk Mountains can be observed from Sheep Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail close to Sheep Lake called the Cureranti Pass Trail, and Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby.
