Shagwa Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Around Shagwa Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July while January is regularly the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Shagwa Lake. Shagwa Lake is right by the Killpecker Trail; if you came to camp Creedmore Lakes Campground is a delightful place       to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Cache La Poudre River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby; why not take a refreshing hike along the North Lone Pine Trail. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River. There's so much to do here at Shagwa Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bellaire Lake Campground is a delightful spot for that. Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a pleasant spot                  to get some rest; a lake nearby is Pocahontas Lake. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. Playing golf is lots of fun at Fox Acres Country Club; Ramona Dam has fine water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is abundant here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail offers hiking at its best, and Shagwa Lake is not the only spot close by, Red Feather Lake is a close by lake. At Shagwa Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's.
