Shadow Lake Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. On a pleasant day at Shadow Lake Reservoir you can take a hike along the Rule Creek Trail, and a delightful nearby hotel is The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile; if you need a spot to stay Country Lodge is a perfect choice.
