During the summertime months here at Setzer Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Setzer Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Setzer Reservoir is mostly       a rather arid place; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Fort Collins, naturally you could also have a look at Black Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and a brilliant location to camp here at Setzer                  Reservoir is Heron Lake RV Park. Just can't get enough of Setzer Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Greyrock Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Fort Collins Country Club Golf. Setzer Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Fort Collins-Loveland; a lake nearby is Dixon Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
