Many people like to go to Sellar Lake. Sellar Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. A visit to Sellar Park rejuvenates the spirit, and you're sure to come across some cheerful people from Edwards here. Sellar Lake is pretty waterless usually; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Sellar Lake has to offer. The skiing

| | at Ski Cooper is pleasant. This lake is so wonderful. The Sawyer Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Beaver Creek is relatively near. Don't forget to take a great little journey to Cunningham Creek, and great hiking is available along the Last Chance Trail.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Tellurium Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Lake Creek. Not enough | |

hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. A splendid close by hotel is The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch. There's so much to do here at Sellar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Elk Wallow Campground is a tremendous spot
for that. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a delightful location to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Fulford Cave Campground is a good location to do that.
Sellar Lake beyond
doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Not far from Sellar Lake, you'll hit upon Savage Lakes which is a charming lake; there's whitewater on Fryingpan River for all you adrenaline people. Summertime at Sellar Lake
arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Sellar Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. All the outdoors
fun stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back many times. The peak of Sellar Peak can be observed from Sellar Lake, and there's splendid hiking along the Chapman Trail.
