Sell Lake is a lake worth visiting. Sell Lake is located in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Shadow Hills Golf Club not far from Sell Lake; going for a hike on the Stultz Trail is always a great adventure. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Arkansas River, obviously you could also go to Cannon Watershed C-4 Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all.
Any time is a great time at Sell Lake if you go for the outdoors.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Near Sell Lake you come across good locations like Forked Gulch. There's so much to do here at Sell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA is a splendid place for that. At Sell Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Canon City is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Sheeley Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Royal Gorge Motel, and since you're here at
Sell Lake it's a great idea to check out Wolf Park. Paddling on Grape Creek is so much fun; if you came to camp Yogi Bears Jellystone Park is a delightful location to do that.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range.
Take a little spree to Sand Creek if you're here at Sell Lake, and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a wonderful national park. This location is unbeatable, just look at all the exciting stuff to do near Sell Lake. During
your visit to Sell Lake you'll meet some folks from Canon City for sure, and close by you hit upon the Tanner Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. For the duration of the summer at Sell Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's.
When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Sell Lake.
