Section 7 Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Section 7 Reservoir is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Yeah, come here to Section 7 Reservoir for a pleasant time. While you're here at Section 7 Reservoir you can take a hike along the Horsefly Trail, and Clay Creek Spring is an inspiring spot to go to while here. Iron Spring Campground is a great campground here; San Miguel River is a pleasant whitewater spot close by.

Here at Section 7 Reservoir you'll probably meet some people from Montrose, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Paradox Road. Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Section 7 Reservoir
temperatures sink to the 0's.
Section 7 Reservoir gets very little precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Mountain Lodge At Telluride is a perfect
spot to spend a night or two; Section 7 Reservoir is a delightful spot to camp, Antone Spring Campground is a delightful spot. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River; on a great day you can take a hike along the Dry Creek Trail.
