If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Seavarda Lake. Camping is available at Raton RV Park; if you've had enough of Seavarda Lake, Lake in the Hole is nearby. Julius Parks is a magnificent place to stretch your legs a bit, and a short tour to Dripping Spring is always worthwhile. Summertime at Seavarda Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through       the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Seavarda Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Medina Canyon is a delightful place to go if you're at Seavarda Lake, and it's a brilliant idea to stop by Dry Creek. After a long day outdoors Raton Super 8 Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two; Capulin Volcano National Monument is one of the destinations that are great to stop at close by. A tremendous close by hotel                  is Budget Host Raton, and camping at SummerLan RV Park is always a great experience.
