Did you work for the DOW? I have had great luck fishing there, lovely camping weather and have enjoyed many hikes to the inlet. I have a few pictures of the lake when it was pretty full. Do you know where I can get information on why it was drained? A delightful location to camp here at Seaman Reservoir is Fort Collins KOA, and there's brilliant hiking along the Wintersteen Trail. So many exciting things in the Front Range, just phenomenal. Why not pop by Milton Seaman Dam while you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Seaman Reservoir; Greyrock Trail is a brilliant local trail. North Fork Cache La Poudre River flows through this neighborhood, and you're sure       to stumble upon some smiling folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here. Seaman Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. And that's not all there is to do here in the Front Range. Seaman Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Laporte Koa Kampground is a glorious local campground; get wet paddling on Cache La Poudre River. Any time is a glorious time at Seaman Reservoir if you like the outdoors. Long Draw is a good place to go to                  nearby; a lake close by is Milton Seaman Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Overland Trail, and after a long day outdoors Budget Host Inn Fort Collins is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. Seaman Reservoir is ordinarily a reasonably dried up spot; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most; December on the other hand is the driest. At Seaman Reservoir all through the summer highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, usually in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Seaman Reservoir are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
