Jim DePauw: I lived at Seaman's Reservoir in 1974 and maintained it. I then also work at the Bellevue plant, I'll download some of my pictures and send them somtime. Back then the capacity was 4,330 A.F.

If you are in Larimer county it's always a good idea to stop by Seaman Reservoir. Don't leave Seaman Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Overland Trail, and camping at Fort Collins KOA is always a good experience. At Seaman Reservoir during the summertime highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while Seaman Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime

Why not go to Milton Seaman Dam if you're here; there's some flowing water nearby, North Fork Cache La Poudre River is a stream you can check out while you're here. So many entertaining things in the Front Range, just tremendous. You'll meet a lot of folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here; whitewater paddling is great on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork. so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Wintersteen Trail is always a magnificent adventure; a lake nearby is Milton Seaman Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Inn Fort Collins is a good place to spend a night or two;
there are glorious sites to discover along the Greyrock Trail. Any time is a glorious time at Seaman Reservoir if you like the outdoors. If you need a location to stay The Armstrong Hotel is a great choice, and Cache La Poudre River
has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Seaman Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Laporte Koa Kampground is a nice local campground; Long Draw is another splendid place to pop
by close by. ; July is the wettest month with most rain while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful.
