Scott Lake is a lake worth visiting. It is very dried out here at Scott Lake mostly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Sawatch Range. Here at Scott Lake there are plenty of folks from Edwards; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Aspen Highlands. This lake is one of the great places here in the

| | Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Sawyer Lake Trail, and Scott Lake is not the only spot close by, Sioux Lake is a close by lake. Head up to Aspen Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Last Chance Trail. For the duration of the days of summer at Scott Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. During the winter the highs are mostly | |

in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Scott Lake sink into the 0's. All year is a great time in the Sawatch Range if you adore the outdoors. The Chapman Trail offers hiking at its best, and
you can distinguish Williams Mountains from Scott Lake. You could also go to Lost Man Lake while you're here at Scott Lake; it's close by, and the Williams Mountains casts its shadow over Scott Lake. Portal Campground is a great local
campground, and dry warm beds await you at VillaHotel Bears Creek. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. After a long day outdoors The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company is a
great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lost Man Campground if you're here at Scott Lake, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Creek.
Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Scott Lake. Jack Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at; Roaring Fork is a great whitewater spot nearby.
