Summertime highs at Scott Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Scott Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Around Scott Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is
August; February is when it's the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Scott Lake. VillaHotel Bears Creek is a nice spot to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Roaring Fork.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. Why not camp at Lost Man Campground while you're here at Scott Lake; not far from Scott Lake you'll stumble on Lost Man Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. This lake
is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the fine skiing at Aspen Mountain, and at Scott Lake you always meet someone from Edwards. Paddling on Lake Creek is so much fun; the Williams Mountains makes the scenery here nice.
