If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Schrader Reservoir. You might want to pay a visit to Lake Canyon if you're here at Schrader Reservoir, and of course Johnson Creek flows through this neighborhood. Not much rain falls here at Schrader Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.

| | If the weather is great here at Schrader Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Ute Canal Trail, and Schrader Reservoir is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Hay Press Campground is a nice place to camp nearby.

some fine folks from Grand Junction here, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kannah Creek. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Schrader Reservoir. While
you're here at Schrader Reservoir you can take a hike along the Gill Creek Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Colorado River.
At Schrader Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. Through
the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Schrader Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
A glorious close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Grand Junction, and Colorado National Monument is a tremendous local destination.
This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. So much fun stuff to do here in the
Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, too great to be true. There's always Aubert Dam to check out right next door to Schrader Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Divide Forks Campground.
