Schrader Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. This place, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Johnson Creek is a fine site to check out, and Divide Forks Campground is a delightful campground here. There are good places to look at along the Serpents Trail, and you're perhaps into lakes, Aubert Reservoir is one of those close by. Any time is a good time at Schrader Reservoir if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you need a spot

| | to stay Hampton Inn is a tremendous choice, and obviously, all our national parks are fine places to go to and Colorado National Monument is no exception.
Here at Schrader Reservoir you'll probably meet some people from Grand Junction. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, not sufficient time. Dry warm beds await you at El Rio Rancho Motel, and Kannah Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Near Schrader Reservoir you stumble on the Gill Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and you can run the rapids of Colorado River.
Going for a hike on the Ute Canal Trail is always a glorious adventure, and a good site close
by is Lake Canyon. Schrader Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Schrader Reservoir is close to Aubert Dam which is a pretty place absolutely worth visiting, and if you
came for an overnight stay Hay Press Campground is a good place to camp.
Through the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Schrader Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The
wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Schrader Reservoir through the wintertime mostly drop into the 10's. Schrader Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month.
