Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Sawyer Lake is one of them. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. Get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Roaring Fork; Sawyer Lake is a delightful location to camp, Lost Man Campground is a delightful location. It is very dried up here at Sawyer Lake mostly; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month of the year is February.

| | do next to Sawyer Lake. The slopes of Aspen Highlands are so inviting noone can resist; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fryingpan River. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range. For the period of the summer months at Sawyer Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Sawyer Lake fall into the 0's.
Sawyer Creek is a stream that you may bump into while here, and hey, Gotta ski right? Aspen Mountain is a good place to
do that. There's perfect hiking along the Last Chance Trail, and Chapman Gulch is a great location to visit. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Sawatch Range. VillaHotel La Niche is a delightful place
to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Sawyer Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay VillaHotel Bears Creek is a wonderful choice, and you're sure to bump into some smiling folks from
Edwards here. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Sawyer Lake without first going for a hike along the Chapman Trail; camping at Sawyer Lake is magnificent fun, Elk Wallow Campground is a magnificent local campground.
