You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Park Range has to offer. Winterwood Townhomes is a perfect location to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Grizzly Creek Campground. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Park Range is so good! This is a fine neighborhood for people who like lakes. Stambaugh Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood; you       can have a good hiking adventure along the Divide Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Newcomb Creek Trail, and hey, Sawmill Creek is a delightful local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are perfect; Hidden Lakes is a lake that's close to Sawmill Lake; get wet paddling on Elk River. Around Sawmill Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the snow falls throughout December, and August is when it's the driest. For the period of the summer                  months highs here at Sawmill Lake get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Sawmill Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is glorious at Howelsen Hill; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Steamboat. Yeah, come here to Sawmill Lake for a delightful time. Not far from Sawmill Lake you acquire some good water scenery at Stambaugh Dam, and do take a hike on the Percy Lake Trail. Sawmill Lake is one of the lakes here in the Park Range.
