Lakes are such calm places, why not explore Stambaugh Reservoir next to Sawmill Lake; dry warm beds await you at Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Park Range. Winterwood Townhomes is a magnificent place to get some rest, and nice skiing awaits you at Steamboat. It is very dried up here at Sawmill Lake mostly; the wettest month of the year is mostly       December, that's the one that snows the most, and August on the other hand is the driest. Sawmill Lake is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. A great spot to camp here at Sawmill Lake is Grizzly Creek Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Elk River. This lake is so wonderful. Sawmill Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Lakes Campground is a brilliant local campground, and                  if you're here you can take a hike along the Percy Lake Trail. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Howelsen Hill; brilliant water scenery is available at Stambaugh Dam in close proximity to Sawmill Lake. All through the months of summer here at Sawmill Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Sawmill Lake temperatures dip to the-10's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area close to Sawmill Lake has to offer. You'll find a pretty lake called Hidden Lakes near Sawmill Lake; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Divide Trail. That right there is lots of amusing things already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all.
