Sandbeach Lake is pretty waterless typically; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and November is when it's the driest. Sand Beach Dam is not far at all from Sandbeach Lake, and dropping by Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Sandbeach Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Saint       Vrain Creek - South offers some pleasant whitewater; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Berthoud Pass since you're here. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more cool things to do in the Front Range. If you came for an overnight stay Mount Meeker Campground is a fine site to camp; while you're here at Sandbeach Lake, checking out Dragons Egg Rock is a must. Lakes? Sure, Finch Lake is close by, and a splendid site is The Notch.                  Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Front Range is great! Marys Lake Lodge is a great spot to get some rest, and nearby you stumble on the Thunder Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Longs Peak Campground while you're here at Sandbeach Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Saint Vrain Creek - North. One of the overriding features of the surroundings of Sandbeach Lake is Mount Meeker, and going for a hike on the Lion Lake Trail is always a good adventure. You truly must have a thing about Sandbeach Lake. You have to absolutely dedicate some time to The Loft if you're here at Sandbeach Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Finch Lake-Pear Reservoir Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is a good place to spend a night or two; let's not forget Cony Creek which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more fun things to do here in the Front Range. There are other locations here than Sandbeach Lake, for example Black Lake; do put some time aside to spend at Calypso Cascades if you're here at Sandbeach Lake. At Sandbeach Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Sandbeach Lake tend to be in the 0's.
